How do you view history? Dull and boring? A collection of irrelevant names and dates? Exciting real life drama? An opportunity to learn and grow closer to God?! The history of the Bible is really His Story - the story that God uses to tell us about Himself. It is as relevant to us today as it was when people were living it - perhaps more so, as we have the benefit of seeing it in perspective. We see the whole story, not just the day to day grind of it all.  Seeing the whole story from the past helps us rise above our day to day grinds. This year we're studying just that - the daily experiences of the people who lived under the Kings of Israel and Judah, and the daily experiences of Elijah and Elisha, men who spent their lives trying to keep God's people faithfully following the Lord.
