Our Beliefs

We believe that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. As we proclaim this good news and live as Jesus taught us, we endeavor to draw others to the joy of new life in Christ. We acknowledge God’s Word, the Bible, as our only rule of faith and life, and we seek to govern ourselves by it, alone.

We aspire to:
-
Heartfelt Worship
-
Biblical Teaching
-
Warm Fellowship
-
Servant-Hearted Teamwork
Reformation Canada Network

We belong to the Reformation Canada Network. Our group of churches keep each other accountable to carry out the Great Commission (our mission). Together, we long to see every church being a healthy church, radiant in Christ, reaching out and reproducing (our vision). Our core beliefs are built on the foundation of Scripture.

Grace Community Church
Vision Statement:
We long to see people become
passionate and devoted followers of Christ.
Our Story
Grace Community Church was planted in 1956 by Dutch immigrants eager to retain their roots in the Reformed Church. In the 1970s, the church experienced some setbacks. By 1976, we wondered how we would survive.
Surprisingly, a decade later we had grown too big for our building. How? Watch our short film to see how God brought us to this corner of 110 Avenue and 146 Street in Surrey.
